Photograph from the early 20th century, likely taken in the Alszeg part of the town (presumably along the axis of today’s Dózsa György and Régigyár streets). This area has preserved the traditional streetscape and houses of old Gheorgheni the most. It can be observed that alongside the muddy street, there was a wooden plank walkway for pedestrians.
